Frog Thank You card

Quilling is not the most masculine embellishment, at least not to me; the swirls just lend themselves fabulously to cute and pretty elements; so when I was asked to create a thank you card with a frog for a guy I tried really hard to not have it look feminine; I think I did alright with it; we'll see what my coworker thinks. What do you think?

I love it!! Totally agree it is hard to create a masculine card.

I think the card is perfect! I like how you did the legs with three pieces like he is jumping. Usually there is only one piece and the foot. Cute, cute! I bet your co-worker things so too.

I love it too! I've been trying to teach myself how to quill. When you do a piece like this,do you wrap it in one continuous stip? I mean the body then each of the legs? Thanks a bunch

Thanks everyone for the comments.

Jessica, I did each section of the frog and pieced it all together; the body for example may have been 3 strips of paper that I glued together, the head 2 strips - and so on. One day when I have time I'll try to do a tutorial or at least a list of the sizing of the strips of paper on a project- on my 2011 to do list.
